To achieve this look start, by applying De Lorenzo’s Motion on damp hair for a firm but flexible hold, then roughly dry hair with a blow dryer. Once hair is dry, pull all of your hair upward making sure the back is tight and smooth and secure with an elastic. To create volume, backcomb the ponytail and add Sandstorm for natural texture with a medium hold. Once you’re done, twist the hair into a circular shape around the elastic band and secure bun with hairpins. Finish off your Top Knot by applying Granite to the sides of your hair for a sleek and secure look.

The Undone Bun: The undone bunis a totally chic and stylish look that can suit many occasions. You can achieve the undone bun in a few simple steps; brush hair to make sure all tangles and knots are out, apply De Lorenzo’s Motion from the Elements range to the mid-length and ends of your hair for a non-tacky, firm and flexible hold. Proceed with teasing your hair to create volume by back-brushing. Apply Vapour Mist, a light hair spray to provide control without weighing your hair down. Then flip your hair upside-down and gather hair in your hands to help eliminate any bumps to tie into a bun. Tease strands out with your fingers or the back end of a tail comb to achieve a rougher texture and seal your look with De Lorenzo’s Sandstorm which helps to provide a matte, dry look with natural texture and medium control.

The Wet Look Bun: The wet look bunis the perfect look for the upcoming summer season as it allows you to keep cool, on-trend and still feel sexy. You can shape this look in a few simple steps. On damp hair, apply a generous amount of De Lorenzo’s Mudslide and Ocean Mist, Mudslide will give you a strong hold as it is a sculpting crème that provides texture, definition and shine whilst Ocean Mist provides the feel and texture of beach hair with natural movement and definition. Your next step is to lightly back-comb the roots of your hair, working from the front hairline back to the crown to add height and texture to the style. Pull hair into a low pony and tie with an elastic. Loosely and imperfectly, twist the hair around the pony tail, secure with bobby pins and rough slightly with fingers.
