When asked what her favourite product was, her passion came to life sharing her favourites she adores using for herself and then going a step further to provide expert looks and solutions for the many different hair types and styles. “I have a love for all of De Lorenzo’s products, but my go-to for my own hair would be Instant Satur8 for moisture, Defence Extinguish for protection and Elements Vapor mist- I could not live without my Vapor mist!

I think the best thing about our products is that we can intermix them and I love using a few different products to create a look and then I customise the needs for my clients. Some of my favorite mixes would be:

The Glossy sleek Blow Wave

Start with spraying in Defence Extinguish for protection and to avoid breakage. I then love mixing  Elements Titanium and Instant Allevi8 Shine Serum together to blow-dry with. Next I use a hot iron straightening tool and finish with  Elements Afterglow to keep hair smooth and glossy for the day.

And bounce… who doesn’t love a bouncy Blow Wave?

Any client that has flat straight hair loves it when we can add volume and bounce to their hair. For this I love using Instant Satur8,  Elements Barrel Wave and Amplify into the roots. Blow-dry the product in using a medium to large barrel brush to build the root-lift and bounce. Then work through to smooth those ends. Finish with Elements Vapor Mist.

And Curls!

There are so many choices for curls. For beautiful curls that have hold I use Elements Barrel Wave and Titanium with Defence  Thermal Argan Oil, Elements Motion, and Prescriptive Solutions Revive Moisture Repair. This is one mix I love as it gives a beautiful hold and no crunch.

If I want even more texture and hold in the curls I add  Elements Sea Swell, Amplify or Densify depending on the hairs texture. Smooth with The Ends and finish with a little Elements non-aerosol Granite, this adds a little more crunch feel but the texture in your curl will last all day.

Sprucing up Short Hair

Short hair can be fun for using products but as hairdressers, we are sometimes a little scared to use too much. I love blow drying short hair with products that can produce texture such as Elements Densify and  Ocean Mist together, once dry, my favorite texture product on short hair would be Elements Titanium and  Grit mixed in your hand and then applied to the hair. For added dry texture you can finish with  Elements Sandstorm.

These are just some ideas, but there are so many more creations that we can achieve, I believe that everyone’s hair is different so being able to create a look for your client can be your point of difference in the salon.”
