De Lorenzo are excited about working with Contemporary Indigenous Artist Jacinta-rai Ridgeway-Maahs who is a proud Worimi woman. Inspiration flows freely from Jacinta-rai in the form of designs, symbols and colours to form the collections that are truly inspired by nature. These beautiful commissioned pieces signify that together we are united and together we are one – Land, Earth and Sea.

Jacinta-rai has been a hairdresser for the past 18 years and is also a successful De Lorenzo salon owner from RnR Hair designers. Jacinta lives and works on the beautiful Butchulla Country in Hervey Bay

A number of pieces have been created which will take us on a journey and connect with each other. The first release called “Inspired by Nature” will be featured across the 2022 Salon Christmas pack collections which includes  Prescriptive Solutions, Instant Series, and Bond Defence.

An extension of our dedication to the health of our planet, and our environmental footprint, Jacinta-Rai’s artistry is an homage to nature and our community.

The rainbow embraces 3 circles - an acknowledgement of country, our first nation’s people and the traditional owners of the land, and pays respect to elders past, present and emerging.

Greenery reflects De Lorenzo’s commitment to sourcing and using sustainable, certified organic ingredients, representing the promise made to protect and preserve the land on which we walk.

Large circles surrounding the rainbow represent the knowledge and sharing of customs Vincent and Anton de Lorenzo have passed onto their families from generation to generation.

The ‘togetherness’ of the strong and amazing De Lorenzo community is beautifully symbolised by earthy rainbows surrounding the two large rainbows. They encompass community, respecting the contributions made from the scientists to the production team, the technical advisers to the representatives, the hairdressers and the beautiful clients who believe and trust in the values of De Lorenzo.
