Angela is a creative colourist she likes to work with precision and free flowing colours to create multi-dimension colours so that these colours are personalised for each individual client. Over the two days at  Hair Festival, she showcased four looks – creative looks using pastel tones and commercial looks using copper tones. Each style used multiple colours.

Indigo

Copper Model Inspiration came from the Autumn Maple Tree Leaf

Colour

Slices and balayaged some ends with Supanova + 6% then added the global colour

Regrowth CG6 + Orange Concentrate + sunray gold + 6%

Ends - copper vibrants + orange concentrate + 3%

Toned the balayage pieces with Atomic Orange, Cyber Yellow and  Intense Red Novafusion

Style

Indigos hair was cut into a layered shag like style.

Moisture Repair Revive and Barrel Wave were applied and then the hair was twisted as it was blow dried.

Extinguish was applied before a medium sized wand was used to curl the hair to accentuate the shag style.

The style was finished off by shaking out the curls and spraying on  Sandstorm.

Jess

Pastel Rainbow Model inspiration came from Rainbow Paddle Pops and Fairy Floss

Colour

Supanova 6% on mid band and then went through with Supanova +6% + protect on regrowth

Toned - v9 + Novacreme

Toned pastel colours using brick techniques melting into each other - crystal clear + hypnotic pink, crystal clear + sublime green, crystal clear + cyber yellow, crystal clear + hypnotic pink + atomic orange

Style

Jess's hair was cut into a layered bob as she has naturally curly hair and then parted on the side.

Moisture Repair Revive and Barrel Wave were applied and then the hair was twisted as it was blow dried.

Extinguish was applied before a small sized wand was used to curl the hair.

The style was finished off by shaking out the curls and spraying on  Sandstorm. The hair was then flicked over to the side part.

Lily

Copper Model Inspiration was Autumn colours

Colour

Started with virgin hair.

Sectioned out the hair at the back from ear to ear.

Intense copper contrast + 9% was applied in vertical slices to the bottom section at the back of the head and in diagonal slices on the top half of the head

Global colour - regrowth CG6 + orange concentrate + yellow concentrate + 6% ends CG6 + orange concentrate + yellow concentrate + 9%

Style

Lily's hair had a layered cut keeping the length as she had naturally curly hair.

Moisture Repair Revive and Motion were applied to the hair and dried wavy.

Extinguish was applied before a medium sized wand was used to curl the hair accentuating her natural curls.

The style was finished off by shaking out the curls and spraying on  Sandstorm.

Charlotte

Pastel tone model inspiration was from Fairy Floss and Coral

Colour

Charlotte had existing blonde foils in her hair so the ends were balayaged with Artiste + 6%

Roots were toned with a root tap using N6 Novatone

Roots and mid sections were toned with  Coral Peach + Rose Gold Novafusion and painted on like a colour, then bricking and blending three colours rose gold, coral peach, rose gold + coral peach

Style

Charlotte’s hair was trimmed with a few layers added in keeping it long.

Moisture Repair Intense, Motion and Densify were applied and dried into the hair.

Extinguish was applied before a medium sized wand was used to curl the hair. The curls were pinned up so they could set and sprayed with  Vapour Mist. The curls were then brushed out to create glamour waves.

The style was finished with Vapour Mist and  After Glow to set into place.
